I would like to recommend a book I just read from a fellow Philadelphian. It's entitled Open Me. The author is Sunshine O'Donnell. (Sorry, not an OTP author). I attended a book discussion with her at the local Barnes and Noble last week. The style of the novel is wonderful, very poetic. Although almost entirely fictional, it explores the nature of grief by creating a story about a female cult of professional mourners. The author is very interesting. She teaches all sorts of subjects to disadvantaged youth, including quantum physics. There will be a book discussion of my novel, A Lesson in Murder, later this month as we focus on local writers. I will put in a plug for other OTP writers.
