FOLKS

Inetresting business analysis in Wash. Post of the Macmillan-Amazon back and forth regarding Kindle.

I'm just glad Amazon blinked and it's settled.

It's actually a long way from settled. The big publishing houses think e-books should sell for way too much.

One of the best selling authors on Kindle sells her books for .99. She put them on there herself and has sold into the thousands. It all adds up.

How many of you have a Kindle and how do you like it? I love mine.

Until ebooks are the only way to read, which may not ever happen, I don't see reason to make them expensive for readers.

That said, if the iBook carries lots more features such as built in videos and more color pics for a book, then I could see why the cost could be more and people would want to pay it.
